Claire has worked in Family Law since 1990. She was formerly a director at Verisona Law, as well as the head of the matrimonial department and is an acknowledged specialist in this area. As one of the founders of the Portsmouth, Chichester & South Downs Collaborative Law Group, she continues to help drive it forward. She is well known locally for her commitment to alternative methods of dispute resolution. Claire continues her legal practice with a niche practice locally.
A member of the Law Society Family Panel Claire also has special Accreditation through Resolution as Specialist Family Lawyer in Cohabitation and Children Law. She is a qualified family Mediator, a specialist in Child Consultation and a collaborative lawyer (all with Resolution), and is also a qualified civil mediator.

In November 2018, Claire was invited to join the UK’s Family Justice Council, an advisory body sponsored by the Ministry of Justice which promotes an inter-disciplinary approach to family justice for the best possible results.
Claire lives locally and is married with two young children. When not in work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her children and exercising. Claire is passionate about her two horses and walking her dog. She also enjoys entertaining at home.
